Public downloads

You can download ArrayThing without signing up. We record the installer version and time when a download starts, without adding names, email addresses, IP addresses, device identifiers or tracking cookies to these records. Repeat requests count again. These counts measure download starts, not unique people or completed installations. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary connection data to deliver the site.

Optional support

Buy Me a Coffee links are optional and open an external service. Donations and payment information are handled by Buy Me a Coffee and its payment providers under their privacy policies.

Historical beta requests

We store your email, optional Windows version and intended-use note, request status and review dates. We use your email for essential beta administration, including confirmation, invitations, secure access and important testing notices. Occasional ArrayThing news and release updates are separate and optional; we record an opt-in time only when you choose them. Historical beta-contact consent is not treated as permission for general marketing.

Desktop feedback

Feedback includes your note, app version and—only when you choose it—the reviewed system snapshot described inside ArrayThing. The snapshot excludes filenames, file paths, item labels, array titles, usernames, computer names, IP addresses, serial numbers and file contents.

Security records

Access tokens and browser sessions are stored as hashes, never as raw secret links. Short-lived rate-limit records help prevent abuse. Approval, revocation and access-link events are recorded without raw tokens.

Retention and deletion

Expired sessions are removed during maintenance. Delivered email records and short-lived security records are routinely cleared; beta applicant and feedback records are kept only while needed for testing and support. Ask to withdraw from the beta, withdraw an optional news opt-in or delete your applicant data by emailing support@arraything.com.

Access

Feedback and beta records are available only through the owner-authorised administration area. The public forms never reveal whether an email is registered or approved.
